Building Scalable Financial Structures with torq.partners and Moss

industry
Health Care
Services
Startups
Scope
FinOps setup, accounting, financial control, and brainstorming with the Head of Finance

Challenge
Growth without a financial foundation is a risk.
A newly founded company without established financial processes. No dedicated finance lead within the company. Lack of resources due to a focus on operational processes and scaling. Inadequate financial oversight and many missing invoices.
Solution
Scalable structures. Automated processes. Ready to use right away.
Implementation of a scalable cost center and cost object structure. Setup of Pathway Solutions for Stripe transactions with automatic KOST1/KOST2 assignment. Implementation of Moss to automate accounts payable: Automatic preliminary posting via vendor rules; transition from traditional credit cards to Moss cards (automation using subscription cards, studio cards, and department cards). Integration of getmyinvoices to collect all receipts not received via email (Meta, Google, Amazon, etc.) and create a single, reliable source. Simple approval workflows for employees.
Impact
Full control over 10 studios in less than 90 days.
Over 500 transactions with a volume of >150,000 EUR are managed across 10 studios with only ~5 hours of weekly effort. Monthly closing is completed in under 5 hours, and export files are available by the 15th of the following month. Reporting is based on actual figures, including contribution margin at the studio level. All sales tax returns are filed on time, and the OPOS list has been drastically reduced.
